Orli is committed to protecting student privacy and maintaining the security of educational data. This policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect information.

Data collection

Orli collects only the information necessary to provide behavior tracking and student support services:

• Student information (name, grade, contact details)
• Behavioral and academic records
• Communication logs between staff and parents
• User account information for staff members

Data usage

Data is used solely to provide services to your school. We never sell it and never use it for advertising. A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so that Orli can run: hosting and database storage, email delivery, and sign-in. They are permitted to use it only to provide those services. Each school's data is isolated from every other school's and accessible only to authorized staff members.

Security

Student data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is enforced at the database itself rather than only in the application, so a member of staff sees only the students they have been given access to. Changes to records and to permissions are logged.
